Hi and Welcome!
I am Maro Vedava,
a Greek media priestess.
I am a mystic visual and digital
artist, fusion belly dancer,
priestess of the Goddess and visionary theorist (as Psyence Vedava).
My creative space is Moon Nectar Temple in Thessaloniki.

Academic Studies
I initially studied film-making at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (2004-2010). Then, I completed a research master (RMA) in Media & Performance at Utrecht's University (2011-2013), while studying Western Esotericism at the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. As an independent researcher and visionary theorist I have published two academic chapters under the name Psyence Vedava, namely Exploring Psytrance as Technognosis : A Hypotheses of Participation (2015) and "The Dance of Aurora: Media Priestesses and Auric Fields" (2022). This period I explore media priestessing in relation to Ai.
Body & Dance
Dance has been my medicine since an early age.
I begun taking dance lessons since my 7th year of age, starting with 12 years of classical ballet classes at Mary Liatsou's dance school in Thessaloniki. Since then, I explored various dance genres such as contemporary, modern and jazz dance, hip-hop, traditional Greek dances, and I had been a fanatic of Tango Argentino for 4 years during my early twenties.
But in all honesty, I truly began to get to know and connect with my body through belly dance and yoga.
I fell in love with tribal fusion belly dance and American Tribal Style, and thanks to the internet, I was able to start learning them through recorded videos by myself. To further support my studies, I invested in yoga teacher trainings (Anahata Yoga Academy-200 hours YTT 2016-2018, 500 hours Advanced Teacher Training (2020-2022).
Since then, I attended fusion belly dance classes and seminars from renowned teachers from all over the planet, and I have danced at tribal festivals in Greece, Bulgaria, Poland, and Hungary.
In 2019 I started to learn the art of aerial silks (Sylfis Aerial Arts), a personal hobby that I really enjoy and that helps me evolve as a human being, by pushing my limits beyond any fear.
MOON NECTAR TEMPLE
"Moon Nectar was born out of a very intimate mystical experience with the Moon.
And from a very deep need for healing, meaning and connection".
In 2012 I got initiated into the Mysteries of the Great Goddess by the Universe itself and since then my whole life changed. It started to get meaning, a meaning that was centering around the Feminine Divine and the implications of Her existence. For some time I was obsessed with Her and her manifestations through prehistoric Goddess cultures for thousands of years in Greece and around the globe.
Society was not ready for Her. But the truth made me free.
In 2021, I created Moon Nectar Temple as a space dedicated to the exploration of the arts related the feminine divine. There I taught fusion belly dance and yoga before I officially opened my guided sacred women circles and mixed-gender ceremonies to the public. Moon Nectar Temple functions also as my personal studio where I practice dance and showcase my art, sometimes creating my own costumes and jewelleries.
I have organized different artistic and spiritual events in Greece and I have also produced and co-created the Participatory Visions - Visionary Art Exhibition.
I have further taken part in different international events such as Boom Festival, Free Earth, High Art, Eutopia and Priestess Convocation with presentations, workshops, dance and art.
Recently, I co-created a new event production team in Thessaloniki - Gorgon Drops - and we are organizing our first big electronic dance dark psy event in our town on the 10th of January 2026. I am opening the party as a DJ, being a lover of psychedelic electronic music for almost 20 years! My sets range from psy-dub/dubstep and downtempo to progressive trance and psy-tech.

After finishing my studies I spent time exploring the DIY capabilities of my personal computer for creating Digital Goddess Art and Mystic Videos/Visuals.
At the same time I started deepening my relationship to body and Goddess, exploring the archetype of the priestess and searching for the threads of my ancient spiritual roots.
All these while the world around me was collapsing.
